Thailand has a number of excellent manufacturers of children’s furniture.Though most is made for export, there are also some outlets, malls, and stores in Thailand’s largest cities where these items can be purchased.

For example, the For Kids Center in the Preecha Complex on Ratchadapisek Rd. carries many high quality children’s furniture items, as well as games and accessories.  The MBK Center, an enormous 8-story marble mall, is one of Asia’s biggest shopping centers, and besides carrying most anything you can think of, is a cultural experience in itself.

Finally, if you’re in Chiang Mai, take the short drive out to Ban Tawai, where you’ll find countless arts and crafts shops, including many selling furniture for the little ones.
