From the moment you decide to visit Thailand, until the day you leave, you should be aware that senior discounts exist in many places, some quite unexpected.  First of all, search the Web: increasingly travel and airline websites will have sections for specialized and niche markets, such as seniors.  At present, there seem to be less than before, but they do exist, and can be found with a bit of searching.

The same holds true in Thailand.  From restaurants to exhibitions, galleries, hotels, and even tours, senior discounts are a possibility.  Simply ask, and some places with no apparent promotion on this will indeed offer discounts to seniors, many starting at 65, some at 62, and even some at the ripe old age of 50!
