From the natural beauty of the Northern mountain and the sandy beaches of the South; Baan Krating Resorts was originated from a concept of the two founders Mr. Adisorn Charanachitta, a hotel entrepreneur, and Mr. Vijit Chinalai, a leading Thai hotel architect. They would like to create a unique network of small boutique resorts in Thailand that maintain the
essence of the Thai hospitality with the flexibility of the private home living rather than the restricted hotel atmosphere.

Baan Krating Resort reflects a truly unique and simple living nature of the Thai culture in both the North and the South of
Thailand. 

The friendship between Mr. Adisorn and Mr. Vijit has expanded from our pioneer resort in Phuket Island to the highest mountain of Chiang Mai where the two founders had met Mr. Surapon Maneekul, a well known Northern art & furniture dealers. The goal of establishing a network of boutique resorts from a sandy beach of Phuket Island to a peaceful Chiang Mai forest has continued with the knowledge of Khun Surapon in weaving the dream of Khun Adisorn and
Khun Vijit into a reality.

The management of Baan Krating would like to expand our existing network to nine properties in such unique locations
include Koh Samui, Koh Chang, and Koh Kor Khao
