“Other” in Thailand is a fascinating category unto itself, often more of a delight and a surprise for the cost-conscious than the mainstream activities we’ve listed on these pages.  “Other” in Thailand means not only snakes, elephants, crocodiles, and a woman with scorpions all over her body, but other “Guinness Book of World Records”- type things that somehow seem to flow more into everyday life in the Kingdom.

We’ve listed a few of these for you below, but many you will unexpectedly stumble across on your own – when you least expect it.  It might be the elevator that shoots up 88 stories in the middle of Bangkok, or the astonishing beauty of the women in the cabaret show who contributed more to their looks themselves than did Mother Nature herself.
