Shops for mothers can be found quite easily in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya.  One open secret is called Paragon Passage, hidden in the back of the fourth floor of Siam Paragon in Bangkok.You’ll be amazed at the selection of items here, and even more pleased by the prices.You’ll find many great items for Mom that you won’t find anywhere else, or at least not in one place: from hilltribe handicrafts to silk scarves to hand-painted jewelry and fabric flowers.

Also in Bangkok, at least one visit to Jim Thompson is pretty much mandatory for serious shoppers.Lesser known but also excellent is Naraya, with several shops in Bangkok, including Central World Plaza.Suan Lum Night Bazaar, near Lumpini Park, is full of surprises and pretty much has something for everyone.

Finally, Phuket now has a number of excellent outlet malls which are shoppers’ heavens, such as Premium Outlet Phuket and Central Festival Phuket, in addition to others listed below.
