To wrap up the trip in a relaxing way, let's invite everyone to soak in the "Salt Hot Spring", the only one in Thailand, located in Khlong Thom District, Krabi. Here is a perfect place to unwind and relax, packed with health benefits you shouldn’t miss! ♨️

📌 Phuchong Naga King
.
Puchong Naga is a sacred symbol of Krabi Province, as the locals have deep faith in the Naga (serpent deity). They believe that the Naga symbolizes greatness and abundance. The Naga statue, located at the Sun Square in front of the Krabi Provincial Administrative Organization, faces the mouth of the Krabi River to the west, receiving the sunset's rays as if their immense energy empowers it. 🙏
.
Here, you can make a wish for anything you desire, especially for good fortune. For those wishing to pray to the Puchong Naga statue, we have a special tip to make your prayers even more powerful: ✨
.
1. First, pray at the small pavilion on the right side of the Naga statue, where you can pay respects to Luang Pu Thuat (a revered monk). You don’t need incense for this, just pray with your hands. Afterward, it’s recommended to gently rub the crystal on the monk’s lap with both hands and make your wish.
2. Then, return to the Puchong Naga statue at Sun Square. You can either pray with your hands or light 9 incense sticks, and then make your wish.

📌 Sun Square
After praying at the Puchong Naga statue, we recommend walking to the ‘Sun Square’, located in front of the Krabi Provincial Administrative Organization (from the Naga statue, walk to the left before reaching the HM Lanta Warship Museum). You will come across a wide open space, then look down at the bricks on the ground and find the center point. Stand in that spot and clap your hands. You will hear the sound of your clap echoing. 👏
.
The locals believe that this spot is the center of all positive energy. They also believe that on a full moon night, if you stand at this spot, you will receive good energy that will benefit your life. 👍

📌 Khao Khanap Nam
.
Regarded as the symbol of Krabi, Khao Khanap Nam are two mountains that are roughly 100 meters tall, separated by the Krabi River. If you love nature and photography, you’ll definitely enjoy it. It’s recommended to rent a long-tail boat from Chao Fa Pier or Pu Dam Pier to get a closer view and stop by the cave located in the Khao Kanab Nam area. 🏞️

📌 Khao Khanap Nam
.
At Khao Kanab Nam, there is a staircase leading up to a cave that was once inhabited by humans during prehistoric times, based on evidence discovered in the cave in 1999.
.
For those who are interested in history, both the cave entrance and the interior are fascinating! The entrance displays artwork by Tu Wei Cheng, a Taiwanese artist, while inside the cave, you’ll find stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a volcanic shaft that lets sunlight filter down to the ground, making the cave well-ventilated. There is a slight cool breeze as you walk through. For those in good physical condition, you can climb a large rope to enjoy the view from the top. Additionally, there is a recreated spot that simulates the Japanese soldiers' shelter during World War II.
.
✨ Open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
✨ Entrance fee: 500 THB
(Estimated time to tour the cave is about 1.30 hours.)

📌 Ko Klang community
.
Ko Klang community is located on a small island in the middle of the Krabi River, surrounded by mangrove forests. This charming community offers a glimpse into a simple way of life. The residents of the island are Muslim, so visitors should avoid bringing pigs or dogs onto the island. ✨
.
Even though Ko Klang is a small island community, the atmosphere and the way of life here are far from small! There are many interesting local professions, such as organic farming, making model long-tail boats, and creating batik fabric and natural tie-dye fabrics. You can explore the community on foot, by bike, rent a motorcycle, or take a sidecar tuk-tuk tour. 🚲🛵🛺
.
You can visit Ko Klang Community as a One Day Trip or stay overnight, as the island offers both resort and homestay accommodations. There are also affordable local seafood restaurants to enjoy. You can take a long-tail boat from Krabi Town, or catch a boat from Chao Fa Pier to Tha Hin Pier (Ko Klang), or from Thara Public Park Pier to Tha Le Pier (Ko Klang).

📌 See demonstrations from different groups of professions
.
When visiting the Ko Klang Community in Krabi, one thing you shouldn't miss is to see demonstrations from various local professions in the community. This time, we got to experience demonstrations from 3 different groups: the organic farming group showing how to cultivate Sangyod rice, the group demonstrating how to make model long-tail boats, and the group showcasing batik fabric making.
.
After watching the demonstrations, if you would like to support the local community, you can purchase products directly from the villagers in each group. 🛍️

📌 AMATAYA Wellness
.
Klong Thom District in Krabi is home to Thailand’s only salt hot spring, and it is also one of only five such places in the world! 😲♨ It is considered an important health tourism destination. The main spring, which occurs naturally, is located in the middle of a mangrove forest. The spring consists of water bubbling up from deep underground. The salty taste comes from a combination of hot water and seawater at deeper levels before it rises to the surface. The temperature of the water is not too hot, ranging from about 40-47°C. Originally, locals would soak in the spring to relieve muscle pain, joint aches, and to relax. However, the mineral properties in the salt hot spring also can help rejuvenate the body from various illnesses, restore balance, and strengthen the immune system, reducing the risk of long-term health issues. ♨️

📌 AMATAYA Wellness
.
AMATAYA Wellness is one of the pilot projects of Klong Thom Heritage, located in a salt hot spring area. The mineral-rich water and the ideal temperature of the springs are perfect for restoring and balancing the body. ♨️
.
Currently, AMATAYA Wellness offers two services:
.
AMATAYA Rehabilitation Hospital provides care and rehabilitation for patients suffering from strokes and other diseases using salt hot spring water along with physical therapy.
.
AMATAYA Holistic Medical Treatment, which uses Thai traditional massage combined with salt hot spring baths to promote good health and prevent illness. ♨️💆
.
We had the opportunity to try the salt hot spring bath at AMATAYA Wellness, and it was truly impressive! Soaking in the water, you will feel more relaxed, with a significant reduction in the fatigue from work. Before soaking or having a traditional Thai massage, a preliminary health check is conducted by specialists, ensuring comprehensive care. For those who desire more privacy, separate rooms are also available for use. ✨
