Namtok Mae Yen is located at Mae Hi sub-district, Pai district, Mae Hong Son, 7 kilometer away from the district. This is the most beautiful waterfall of the village, deep in the forest at the bottom of Doi Huai Nam Dang so this can be accessed only by walking. The walking distance is quite long, taking 3-4 hours to reach, so this waterfall is suitable for those who love trekking. The suitable time for visiting is winter and drought season because it is dangerous to go in the Green season. Walking distance starts from the weir near Wat Phra That Mae Yen entrance, and you will walk past the nature with stunning views of waterfall and wild plants. Getting there: use the same route with Phra That Mae Yen, but 200 meter after crossing Pai river you will have to go along the narrow path on the left for 1 kilometer and walk for 4 hours.
