Itinerary
Day 1 : Buri Ram
Phanom Rung Historical Park
This is a grand and majestic Khmer site over a thousand years old. Built on an extinct volcano, it is originally a Hindu religious site and later became a Buddhist one. During the 15th-18th Buddhist century, several additions were made.
Thung Laem Reservoir
It is located on the edge of highway 24, 4 km away from Nang Rong district, on the path to Hin Phanom Rung castle. It is a small reservoir adjusted for sight seeing. There are shelters for relaxing. There would be a lot of birds in summer.

Khao Phra Viharn National Park
The park’s territory lines Thailand-Cambodia border, over high cliff and lush forest of Dongrak Range. Khao Phra Wihan National Park acquires 130 square kilometres area of Amphoe Kantharalak of Si Sa Ket, Amphoe Nam Khun and Amphoe Nam Yuen of Ubon Ratchathani. The country’s 83rd National Park was established on March 20, 1998.

Pha Taem National Park
This park covers an area of 140 square kilometers, where plateaus and hills dominate the parks landscape. There are sheer cliffs, which resulted from earthquakes. Most trees are of the deciduous dipterocarp forest. Irregular shaped sandstone is found scattered throughout the area.
