Itinerary
Day 1 : Kanchanaburi
Srinagarind Dam Wildlife Sanctuary
Bridge Over the River Kwai
Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge on the River Khwae has become notoriously famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one.
Sai Yok National Park
The park covers approximately 300-square-kilometers and contains several interesting caves and the nations famous Sai Yok Yai waterfall.
Day 2 : Kanchanaburi
Khao Laem National Park
About 190 km. from Kanchanaburi on Highway 323 (Thong Pha Phum-Sangkhla Buri), the national park is situated at Km. 40, about 30 km. to Amphoe Sangkhla Buri.
Three Pagodas Pass
This pass is located approximately 240 kilometers from the city or 22 kilometers from Sangkhla Buri. This rugged Thai-Burmese border was once a strategic military route for both the Thai and Burmese; however, it is currently a small border market.
Vajiralongkorn Dam (Khao Laem Dam)
It is a rockfill dam with a reinforced concrete surface measuring 92 metres high. Its crest is 10 metres wide and 1,019 metres long stretching across the Khwae Noi River.
Day 3 : Ratchaburi
Khao Krachom
Natural History Park, Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
Bo Khlueng Hot Stream
Located 5 kilometres beyond Amphoe Suan Phueng and another 10 kilometres along an access road, the stream is full of mineral water and is believed that it can be used for skin treatment. The water flows all year round from the Tanaosi Range. Its temperature ranges between 50-68 degrees Celsius. On the route to the hot stream, a 3 km. branch road leads to Namtok (waterfall) Kao Chon, which consists of 9 cascades. The falls are plentiful during the late rainy season.
Khao Bin Cave
Nine Waterfall
Veneto Suan Phueng
