Phuket Thai Hua Museum
Rawai Beach - Lon Island
Wat Chalong (Wat Chaitaram)
This temple is a melting pot of faith for Buddhists in Phuket and nearby areas. The story of Luang Por Chaem's great charisma is a page of history that Phuket residents will never forget. Even today, both tourists and Phuket residents still travel to pay homage to his statue, as well as another famous monk, Luang Por Chuang, at Wat Chalong, also known as Wat Chaitharam.
Day 2 : Phang Nga
Ban Bo Dan Hot Spring
Ban Bo Dan Hot Springs, located in Tambon Na Toei, on the Andaman coast. If you are coming from Phuket, pass through Khok Kloi intersection, and keep going straight on. At the kilometre 6 marker, you will see the entrance, then go another 3 kilometres further. The water of the natural hot springs are laden with minerals such as sodium and calcium, which are believed to relieve rheumatism, numbness, and help lessen the tension of both body and mind, as well as being beneficial to your complexion and hair. Mineral baths are available daily.
Khao Lak Coast
This long stretch of coast extends from the bottom of Ban Nam Khem, right to Khao Lak National Park-Lam Ru. The entire stretch features wide sandy beaches with plentiful shade from the rows of fir and coconut trees that run alongside, with rock formations of various sizes and shapes interspersing the sand. The water is perfect for swimming or paddling and there are also watersports available, including skim boarding and SUP boarding, leading to the area being widely known as Thailand’s ‘Surf Town’.
